Comic Creators

In this workshop, students explore the art of storytelling through comics. Participants learn character creation, panel layouts, and the use of word bubbles to enhance their narratives.

With hands-on instruction in sequential storytelling, students build confidence in their writing and drawing skills. The workshop concludes with a bound collection of each student’s work, highlighting their unique stories and artistic growth. Additionally, students receive guidance on self-publishing.

You Grow Girl

Designed for girls 3rd grade and up, You Grow Girl combines art with self-care practices, encouraging participants to explore journaling and self-expression. This workshop emphasizes personal growth, confidence, and self-love. Through guided journaling activities, art prompts, and reflective exercises, students learn to use creativity as a tool for self-discovery and emotional well-being.

Character Creation Workshop

In this workshop, students learn to develop original characters from the ground up. Focusing on personality, appearance, and story background, participants craft characters that reflect their unique ideas and creativity. This workshop is ideal for students interested in comics, animation, and storytelling, giving them the foundational skills to bring their characters to life on paper. We also bring our character to life through clay sculptures.

Visual Voices

In Visual Voices, students create personalized album covers as self-portraits, blending visual art and identity exploration. This workshop encourages students to draw upon their own experiences and interests, combining elements like collage, painting, and drawing to craft an album cover that represents their voice. The final piece reflects their artistic journey and personal story, often accompanied by a curated playlist and artist bio.
